We set only one, and only when you choose a language:

• NEXT_LOCALE: keeps the language you picked with the PT/EN switch, so the site stays in that language while you browse. It is set only when you use the switch and is a session cookie, deleted when you close your browser. It holds no identifying information and is read only by our site.

There is no Google Analytics or other analytics service, and no advertising pixels from Meta, Google Ads or any ad network. Fonts, videos, maps and widgets are not loaded from outside providers, since everything on this site comes from our own domain. We do not profile visitors, sell data or share it.

Portugal's Law 41/2004 (Article 5), which implements the ePrivacy Directive, requires prior consent before storing information in your browser, except where this is strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly asked for. Our language cookie is only set when you use the PT/EN switch and stores only that choice, so it needs no consent.

Our only cookie stores your language, so there is nothing for you to agree to, and asking anyway would just teach people to click Accept without reading. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in future, a banner will appear before any of them is set. Refusing will be as prominent and as easy as accepting, and you will be able to change your choice whenever you want.

Your browser settings let you delete or block cookies whenever you like, with no need to contact us. The site keeps working if you block ours. It will just forget your language between visits.
