Angry Panda Productions
Studio

A small studio with a slightly short fuse

Angry Panda Productions started from something we kept seeing in media companies: good ideas for audiences getting lost between the teams that design, plan, analyse and build them.

We are a B2B studio in Lisbon working for streaming services, broadcasters, producers, publishers and live entertainment companies. Our view is simple. One team should be able to design the viewer experience, set the product direction, model audience and revenue, and ship the code.

Keeping that range in one studio is hard, so we stay small and senior and turn down work that does not suit us. That is how we keep the standard high in all four disciplines.

The name fits. Pandas look calm, and most of the time they are. We are patient while we research and plan, we move fast once production starts, and we push back when the evidence says the plan needs to change.

What we care about

01

Precision

A figure you can check is worth more to us than a good anecdote.

02

Access

You deal directly with the designers, analysts and engineers on your project.

03

Impact

If a piece of work does not change a number that matters, it stays on the shelf.

04

Longevity

We build things your team can keep maintaining for years after launch.

Manifesto

In media the release date rarely moves.

The premiere is announced and the album drops at midnight whether the product is ready or not. We plan backwards from that date, and every design, model and line of code we deliver has to improve something you already measure.

What we move
  • Minutes watched
  • Subscriber retention
  • Time to publish
  • Cost per stream

When a piece of work cannot show that, we drop it.

Angry Panda Productions
Why Angry Panda

Most of our clients already had capable suppliers. What they were missing was one team able to connect the design, the data and the code.

  1. One studio for four jobs

Design, product, analysis and engineering share one plan and one set of deadlines, so when something slips there is nobody to blame but us.

  2. Numbers behind the calls

Commissioning, pricing and release decisions are often made on instinct. We bring audience and revenue data into those conversations.

  3. A price agreed up front

Every proposal states scope and price before work begins, and the final invoice matches what you signed.

  4. Everything we make is yours

Code, designs, models and documentation belong to you, and we train your team to run them without us.

Sectors

Our clients make, distribute or sell content. We are most useful when the audience is large, the dates are fixed and the product has to carry real revenue.

Get in touch

Half an hour on a call is usually enough for both sides to know whether we should work together. There is no obligation and nobody will try to sell you anything.
